TRAIL DAY 119

Sat, June 18, 2016 Lisa kindly brought me coffee in the morning – I was the only senior citizen in the bunch.  Later that morning, she and her husband went for a ride.  It was a bright, sunny day and a great day for a picnic.

Several days before I had arranged with Bonnie to meet her here with a friend visiting her from Kansas City, Missouri.  We went to a park for lunch and had ice cream at a parlor in town afterward.

There wasn’t much more that happened that day, all bathed in golden sunlight.  I do remember some tablet activity at the table in our bunk-shed, planning the next leg and having numerous hotdogs for supper.  Other than that, the day drew to a rapid close as I crawled into my sardine can to sleep.
